She was diagnosed with autism when she was 4. She communicates primarily through her AAC device and recently she has verbally spoken a few words again. One year ago we learned that she also has a rare difference of the GNB2 gene, which she shares with only 12 other documented individuals in the world. Hadleigh is the greatest gift of our lives.
