This is the Davis Charm Necklace named after an autistic individual from our online community. Mom says about Davis, "My son, Davis, was born with Fragile X a few months after he was born. Through genetic testing, we knew if we had a boy then there would be a 50/50 chance that he would have Fragile X. Fast forward to January 2025 and he was diagnosed with Autsim as well. Research shows that children with Fragile X have a higher chance of being diagnosed with Autism. Davis is in between a Level 2 and Level 3. At this point, he is nonverbal. I know I don’t know if I will ever hear him say “Mommy” and “I love you” but I know God made him the way he did for a reason. We hold onto hope that he will one day talk. He is in multiple therapies but is making progress. While there are plenty of hard days and tough decisions to make, he is also the sweetest and happiest almost 3 year old I have ever met. It is so fun to see the world through his eyes. We don’t know what the future holds but we know God has big plans for his life. It’s never fails that in public strangers will tell us there’s just something so special about him."
